9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

14. Google USER DATA

In short: We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how we handle your Google user data. This section explains how we access, use, and safeguard your information when you integrate our services with Google Calendar.

Bluubin integrates with the Google Calendar API to provide users with the ability to synchronise leave events (such as annual, sick or study leave) from Bluubin into their Google Calendar. Once authorised by the user, Bluubin accesses, uses, and handles Google user data solely for the purpose of providing the functionality of syncing leave events into the user’s Google Calendar.

• Data Accessed: Bluubin accesses the following Google user data:
  • Google Calendar Names and IDs: We access these in a read-only manner to allow users to select which calendar will receive leave events. Once a calendar is selected, we save the calendar ID for future synchronisation purposes. We do not save a list of calendar names, rather only the ID of the selected one.
  • Google Calendar Events: Bluubin creates and deletes events in the selected Google Calendar that are specifically related to Bluubin leave transactions. We do not modify any existing events that were not created by Bluubin.
• Data Usage: The Google Calendar data is used in the following ways:
  • Exclusive Purpose: The Google Calendar data we access is used exclusively to sync leave events from our platform into your selected Google Calendar. This ensures that your leave is accurately reflected in your calendar for scheduling purposes.
  • No Secondary Use: We do not use your Google user data for any other purposes beyond the functionality described.
• Data Sharing: Bluubin does not share, transfer, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties. All data is used exclusively for the leave event synchronisation functionality between Bluubin and the user’s Google Calendar.
